Frequently Asked Questions:
What are your scheduling policies?

Any changes made to your appointment within 12 hours of your appointment time must be done so via phone or text.

Cancellation policy:  I have no policy of you canceling the same day as your appointment.  I get it, life happens – kids get sick, sitters cancel, spouses get stuck at work – it’s not a problem, as long as you contact me via phone or text.

No-Shows:  Should you miss your appointment completely and don’t call, text or email me the same day, you will be charged 50{974941fb8017cf503adfa8fe7a40885e72c59994b0a62a05636f91bbfa0f8d59} of your scheduled services.  If you miss your appointment a second time, you will be charged 100{974941fb8017cf503adfa8fe7a40885e72c59994b0a62a05636f91bbfa0f8d59} of your scheduled services and will not be allowed to book online anymore.  Also, going forward, you will be required to put a credit card on file for your appointments.  If you miss your appointment a third time, I will not see you as a client anymore.

What is the difference between the three bikini waxes?

Bikini Line:  Any hairs on the outside of your panty/bathing suit line.

Full Bikini: Higher than the bikini line, you may choose to take off all the hair on the top only or leave as much as you want.

Brazilian:  Exact same thing as the full bikini, the Brazilian just includes the butt strip.

Does waxing hurt?
Yes, but the pain goes away within a few seconds.  Everyone’s pain tolerance is different.  If you are more sensitive, I recommend taking an ibuprofen or Tylenol around 30 minutes prior to your appointment.
How long should the hair be?
People say ¼”.  I have never taken a ruler to the hair, but it should be about as long as a grain of rice.
I shaved 3 days ago, can I get a wax?
No silly!  You need to stop shaving a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your waxing appointment.
I’m pregnant, can I get waxed?
Absolutely!  We have waxed people up until the day before they go into labor.
I just got my period, can I still get waxed?
Yep.  Just please make sure there’s a tampon in.
Are there any reasons I cannot get waxed?
Yes there are.  If you are using any topical prescription creams on your face, such as Retin-A, Differin, EpiDuo, you can’t get waxed.  You must wait about 4 weeks after your last use to get waxed.  If you are taking Accutane or Isotretinoin, you can’t get waxed until at least 6 months after your final dose.
